Fire Finishes Fiberglass Vehicle
A little after 5:00 pm on Friday June 29, Quartzsite Fire responded to a vehicle fire on No Name st at Hwy 95 by the Palo Verde Restaurant. The vehicle was being towed north on HWY 95 when the owners started seeing smoke coming from under the vehicle. The owner turned on to No Name Street and stopped. The vehicle burst into flames. They were able to disconnect the tow vehicle so no damage was done to it. The vehicle is owned by Pedro Espanosa of Saleen Fiberglass Restoration in Lake Havasu City. The vehicle was a total loss. There were no injuries to anyone on scene.
